In Our Church
Right here in Jervis Bay, there is much each of us can do to help in our Church.
Prayer Groups
Jervis Bay Baptist Church sees prayer as a vital part of our lives. we are encouraged to meet together to pray. All with set prayer times, prayer can be requested and is shared with those who have committed to praying for others as needed.
Social Groups
A number of groups meet to do craft, play games or chat over lunch. Spontaneous events happen where people can join in to enjoy a movie, a picnic or a coffee
Growth Groups
Home fellowship and bible study groups are great for developing friendships, encouraging each other and growing in faith. A variety of groups meet during the week including ladies groups, KYB, men’s group and mixed bible groups
Men’s Groups
For the men, there is a group that meets on Tuesday nights at 7.30 to explore what it means to be a man of God. On the last Tuesday night of the month we look at a well-known speaker. For a time building faith & friendship, it is precious time for the guys.

Shoalhaven Employers of Christian Education Teachers Inc. is strongly supported by our church. A recent newsletter is in the church foyer. Check them out at www.three16.org.au
BopShop
Jervis Bay Baptist Church runs an opportunity shop in the Vincentia shopping center. Volunteers sort, wash and price donations; operate the shop and help with administration. Profits go to supporting Three16, overseas missions and local community projects.
Nursing Home Services
The church is involved in running church services at Coastal Waters Retirement Village and Basin View Masonic Village.
Prison Ministry
In partnership with Prison Fellowship, the church supports a ministry to those inmates at South Coast Correctional Centre and to their families.
In The World
Our Church helps Globally with charities around the world.
GIA
Global Interaction Australia is working to develop dynamic and focused mission strategies, locally and globally.
ECM
ECM is working with a dedicated team of office staff, Board members and volunteers for the selection, sending and support of missionaries.
